There are several Journey Report's available on the NIBC Telematics Portal tailored for the different products/services you have installed in your vehicle/s. This article shows the 'Journey Report' and 'Multiple Journeys Report'.
Journey Report
The Journey Report is used show all journeys a vehicle has made between a start and end date/time criteria entered by the user. Instructions for how to run the Journey Report are as follows:
- Highlight the vehicle or vehicles you wish to run the journey report for from the left hand vehicle list
- Select the 'Reports' icon from the top blue menu bar
- Select 'Journey Report' from the 'Please Select Report' drop down
- Select the Date/Time 'From' and 'To' from the Date & Time Selection options shown below
- Click 'Load Report' to run the Journey Report against your selected criteria
6. The journey data will be shown as below. Each journey includes a summary of distance, time, idling and duration taken. For a detailed view of the journey select the Earth symbol on the far right side of the journey to open the 'Snail Trail Map Plot' of the journey:
7. The Snail Trail Map Plot shows each event update on the left hand side with the event type, vehicle location and speed travelled. The right hand side shows the events plotted on a map with various options to switch the map plot from event to line, or to switch to Google Street view.
Multiple Journey Plot Reporting
It is also possible to plot multiple journeys on the same map view by using the 'Multiple Journeys Report'. This is useful to see a full day view of all the journeys made by a vehicle. This report works in similar way to the above Journey Report, follow the below instructions to run the Multiple Journeys Report:
- Highlight the vehicle or vehicles you wish to run the journey report for from the left hand vehicle list
- Select the 'Reports' icon from the top blue menu bar
- Select 'Multiple Journeys Report' from the 'Please Select Report' drop down
- Select the Date/Time 'From' and 'To' from the Date & Time Selection options shown below
- Click 'Load Report' to run the Journey Report against your selected criteria
6. A list of journeys that have been completed between the search criteria selected will be displayed as shown below. Tick the journeys you wish to plot, and then select 'Plot Selected Journeys'.
7. The map plot view will automatically open with the selected journeys plotted. Each journey is colour coded to easily highlight them individually.
